My name is Samar, but most of my friends call me Sama, which means “sky” in Arabic!

I began crocheting as a hobby to relax and unwind. It brings me into a world of joy and tranquility, allowing me to express myself and transform the chaos in my mind into works of art. This inspired me to name my project: شرابيك Sharabeek.

Sharabeek is a local Syrian term for tangled threads, ideas, or complex issues. We often say, “In my head, there are really Sharabeek!”

Sharabeek is a project offering handcrafted crochet items such as clothing, decorations, accessories, and gifts. My creations cater to women, men, babies, and some unisex pieces.

All items are handmade, unique, and crafted from high-quality, environmentally-friendly yarns and materials. My zero-waste approach aligns with an ethical and sustainable slow-fashion philosophy: every piece can be recycled as an item or an idea.
